My portrait photography has featured on the covers of high-profile comic books, in the media kits for prominent area drag performers, and will be the focus of an upcoming exhibition in Boston, MA in June 2025.
Making the move from (solely) video content producer to include portrait photography gave me the opportunity to showcase the personalities of loved ones and people in my community from a whole new vantage point. I have a special interest in spotlighting the voices and artistry of the LGBTQ+ community, and I’m eager to continue to develop my skills in highlighting how folks in this community engage with the world and share their unique perspectives.
While portrait photography remains an avocation of mine, I’m especially excited to build this element of my creative portfolio, as I feel portraits often best reflect how people perceive themselves, even more so than video can.
